Literature Text

I have writers block, of this I am quite curtain.
For as I sit here typing I am staring at the curtain.

As I sit here thinking I can feel my brain grow numb,
And honestly the more I try, the more I feel quite dumb.

For though words flow from mind to page, and though I seem coherent,
My thoughts get lost and papers tossed and one thing is apparent,

That though I force the words to form they stutter, falter, stop
Until my writing turns into a muddled piece of slop.

So now I stare at this poor piece and manage a small smile
For while my mind is filled with mush, I still made this worthwhile.
I have writer's block. MAJOR blockage. :( I haven't been able to write anything good since I finished my novel in May. I'm so sad... *sigh*

This is... okay? Not bad for forcing myself to write. I just want to stop feeling braindead again. This always happens in teh summer, but I can't let it! I need to use every moment of this summer that I have! ARG!

Just keep at it! Not every piece has to be amazing. :3 The more you write, eventually the more ideas you'll have, and you'll get something you can really work with. ^^

On the other hand, this little poem is quite nice, and it puts to words all our frustrations when we reach a block of any kind.
