You know you’re obsessed with Twilight when…

· Every time someone mentions the name of a character in the book you squeal (this includes all side characters as well, not just Edward).
· You find yourself angry or not speaking to a friend who dislikes your favorite character.
· You know the exact days, hours, and possibly even minutes until “Breaking Dawn” comes out (or the movie, both work).
· You find it impossible not to mention it to every person in every conversation you have.
· You are insulted if someone says they don’t like the books and take great personal offense.
· You find yourself debating what might happen in the next book constantly… Even while you dream.
· Whenever you see a car style or color mentioned in Twilight you feel the need to point it out.
· If you see a picture of a wolf your first thought is Jacob or werewolves.
· Whenever you read or hear the phrases “Twilight”, “New Moon”, “Eclipse”, and “Breaking Dawn” your mind turns to the Twilight series.
· If you read a story about someone proposing you think of Edward proposing to Bella.
· When it’s a sunny day you wonder what would happen if Edward were there.
· You find yourself wondering if a new vampire is responsible for a murder.
· You start noticing things that have book related names such as “Edwardsville”.
· You are willing to drive hours just to see the Twilight movie in a town with a name related to the book.
· You’ve somehow spoiled all three books for everyone around you simply by making a joke every five minutes that has to do with Twilight.
· When someone says, “You read my mind” you feel the need to respond with “No, I’m not Edward.”
· Whenever you see a fortune teller you scoff and think to yourself (or tell them out loud) that they are nothing to Alice.
· You feel the need to add to that fortune teller that their prediction could change if someone changed their mind.
· You find yourself asking complete strangers what they thought of the Twilight books, and if they say they haven’t read them, tell them every detail you can remember.
· You’ve read the first three books three times or more… In a month.
· Reading this you’ve nodded your agreement to nearly all of them.
· If you hear someone mention “Forks” you think of a rainy little town.
· Whenever you hear your parents talk about calling a mechanic you think of Jacob.
· Whenever you see a motorcycle you think of Jacob, Bella, Edward, or Charlie.
· You find yourself imagining Bella in a wedding dress on a regular basis.
· You write fan fics, rants, and entire stories on Twilight.
· If someone says they hate the Twilight books, you feel the need to defend them.
· You decide you want a car that is like Alice’s, Jasper’s, or Edward’s.
· You want a missle-proof car. If asked why, you claim it’s so the vampires can’t get you.
· You decide that being clumsy and unsociable is a good thing.
· You keep hoping that one of the characters will dump their canon pairing and marry you instead.
· You find yourself wishing you were a vampire or werewolf.
· You compare your friends and family to the characters and find out they aren’t as perfect.
· You insist that your boyfriend act like Edward or Jacob, or that your girl friend tell the future.
· If someone mentions “Pride and Prejudice” it means nothing, but if they say “Edward” you get excited.
· You plan to name your children after characters in the books.
· Worse, you HAVE named a child after characters in the books.
· You want a pet wolf in a hope it’s really Jacob, still being stubborn.
· You freak out if you get older than eighteen because you’ll be too old for your favorite character.
· You write Stephanie Meyer more than ten fan letters.
· You plan to send hate letters if your favorite character dies in the last book.
· You are going to dress up for the book/movie opening as one of the characters.
· You make your kids/little siblings/pets dress up too.
· When your teacher calls roll and says your name, you insist on being called by the names of one of the characters.
· You shy away from anyone named Jane, James, Aro, or Victoria.
· You find yourself discussing vampires and werewolfs during Sunday school.
· If your sibiling/pet/parent/friends/relatives touch your Twilight books you freak out and tell the books “Everything will be alright.”
* You ask your pastor whether or not he thinks vampires go to heaven when they die.
*When your family is deciding where to go on vacation you suggest Forks, WA and have already planned out a weeks worth of activities.
*Those activities include going down to La Push and trying to get one of the elders to tell stories.
*When they say no you suggest going to Italy instead.
*Whenever you watch Romeo and Juliet you imagine Edward saying all of Romeo's lines.
*After reading the books you now feel the need to ready Wuthering Heights.
*You want your boyfriend to write you a lullaby even if they can't play the piano.
*You tell your boyfriend he can stop by any night he feels like, but he has to enter through the window.
*Whenever you read or watch any other show you find yourself comparing the characters or wondering what would happen if they met.

This is specifically for my dear sister Emgeal. Pay attention Em, you've got all the symptoms just about.

I've always liked the "You know you're __ when..." lists, and Em prompted me to want to do one about Twilight. She's been obsessed for weeks, and was a lot of the inspiration for the craziness. XD

I've read all three books, and I love them honestly, but not to the point this talks about.

I haven't done all of those... Only about 1/2.

Some others I thought would be entertaining.:

I have no taste. It is pretty much official. Remember that episode of Monk where he painted various pictures. The snowman is my favorite painting of all time. It was so precise and awesome.

XD I know you haven't done all of them. ;)

Those are hilarious Em. I added them as requested. I swear though, don't you dare ask our pastor if vampires souls go to heaven!

Oh, and isn't it "Wuthering Heights"?

You also know when you're driving through Houston, Texas and you pass the Cullen streets and your heart stops beating and you ask your father who the Cullens were. He told me they were a very rich family who donated alot of money the the University of Houston back in the early 1900s. Didn't your mind just jump to Carlisle and Edward???!!!

a lot of things to do this must have taken time to write

It did, but honestly not too much. Maybe an hour or less. I was supposed to be doing something else. ;)
