This is the first installment of many from the local Lawn and Garden Show that I attended. It was a 4-H photography event where we judged as well, though I was mostly there to take pictures. I am not much a flower photographer however, so every picture I put up here from the garden show probably will be experimental or show something new.

This is two tulips with water sprinkled on them by the gardener.

I like them very much! :D You should stop saying that you're not much of a flower photographer..

I've seen worse -a LOT worse- and I'm sure you have, too.

Though when people say "I've seen worse" that doesn't really strike me as a compliment... it's kind of an insult to me.

But anyway! I love it nonetheless..

And that's all that matters in this world. ;3

Well, I used to be really bad at flower photographs. I'm improving rapidly, but I still am not much of a flower photographer. For the things I consider myself good at I have a specialty. With animals I show expression, with people I like candid or natural shots. For flowers they are just kind of... There. There's nothing special about it. They're neat, but nothing special really. Not to mention the fact that I personally don't like flower pictures very much...

I think with your flower shots Secret they're very good....
I actually like how you have the lighting in your shots. That's what make yours stand out a LOT to me ^^
Makes them almost seem like they have feelings and thoughts, or expressions.

Thanks Lily. :) The lighting is something I was controlling by covering my flash part way to get only half the effect.

This image is just fantastic!

The colour is wonderful. The composition is perfect, and the focus is so sharp! That tulip with the white in it looks great too!
