This is my darling, 11 month old Newfoundland laying beside my mother's precious flowers. It is the first in a series of 'spring' pictures I recently took of Nova. The quotes around spring are because its nearly below freezing today and in some pictures you can see Nova's breath. ;)

My mom guards her garden as well as she can against the rabbits (she swears they plot every night how to go about eating it). It's funny because while photographing Nova she laid down on top of my mother's carefully guarded flowers. I managed to unflatten most of them...

She sure tried. XD She had more of a habit of trying to eat the poor flowers though. It took a lot of tries to get this picture. :) She's generally a really good girl though. ^^

Thank you! :) I think I'm definitely improving in my photographs of her. It's very exciting. This is probably my favorite of Nova that I've taken so far.
