Fire in the Night

Description

This is my friend Amy's little VW bug (which I named Tumbo), which she kindly let me (and helped me) outline in sparklers. Really surprised that no one said anything to us when we were out in the dark, in the middle of November, playing with fire. Oh well, it all worked out in the end.

This picture was inspired by another person's picture on Deviantart, although it ended up going a different direction than theirs did with a completely different feel. I am very proud of this picture (as I am of all my pictures).

This was also turned in for the low light project in my Advanced Photography class at school.

Vision: 4 Stars

I can't believe how wonderful this turned out- the dark night sky and the sparklers in the shape of the car, I really love this piece.

The only problem I have is the front... it looks like its cracking? Like a volcano about to erupt (which actually looks pretty cool) You probably couldn't avoid that, so that's okay.

Originality: 3.5 Stars

As a wise person once said, "Artists copy, great artists steal." As in, every idea has already been done before.

I've seen this before, but I really like yours so I give you props.

Technique: 5 Stars

Wonderfully done, I can't see any better way to execute this (mainly because I'm not a photographer!)

I love how the sparklers are all being blown a certain direction... I find that interesting... did you do that on purpose?

Impact: 4.5 Stars

Beautifully done, awesome and mysterious... I love it!
