CD Message Board

NEW CATEGORY!!!

Sorry, very excited. ^^ This is the first time I've used this category (I hope it's the right one). Too bad as a photographer I wasn't able to get a good picture of my craft, though. I'll try again in better lighting later!

So for the county fair this year there is a recycled crafts category, and I plan to enter this. My mom collected a bunch of old CDs for a different craft once and we still have an entire tower (literally) left over. I wanted to make a message board and got the idea from the ribbon boards, something I made last year for the fair. It took a lot of thought and effort but I finally figured out how to make it look nice and still be strucurally sound. The bottom layer of CDs have a white tint and the top nine have a purple tint (since it's hard to see in the photograph).
